At Unboxd.Tech, advertising helps fund our work so we can publish reviews, news, and how‑tos for free. This page explains how advertising and sponsorships work on our site.

1. Display advertising

We show display ads through partners such as Google AdSense. Ads may be contextual, non-personalised, or (where you consent) personalised. We cap intrusive formats where possible and avoid placements that disrupt reading.

  • We do not sell user data.
  • We do not allow advertisers to edit or approve our editorial content.
  • We use standard brand‑safety filters and block known malicious categories.

2. Sponsored content

Occasionally, we publish content in partnership with a brand. These posts are clearly labelled “Sponsored” at the top of the article and within the metadata. Sponsored pieces must still meet our quality standards and will be clearly separated from reviews and news.

What we promise:

  • Sponsored posts are disclosed and labelled.
  • We keep final editorial control over what appears on the page.
  • We do not guarantee favourable coverage.
