Last updated: 15 October 2025We aim to be accurate and helpful. If we make a mistake—or if a product changes—we fix it and note the change here.
How we handle corrections
- Minor fixes (typos, broken links, small clarifications): corrected silently.
- Substantive fixes (incorrect specs, pricing, test results, missing disclosure): we add an Update note on the article with the date and a short explanation of what changed.
- Retractions (rare): if a major piece is fundamentally wrong, we’ll retract and explain why.
How to request a correction
Email contact@unboxd.tech with:
- The page URL
- The specific text you believe is wrong
- What the correct information should be (links or evidence help)
We review requests as soon as reasonably possible.
Update notes (how they look)
At the bottom (or top) of an updated article, you’ll see a note like:
Update (15 Oct 2025): Fixed the HDR section to reflect that Dolby Vision isn’t available on the UK model. Added a tip for enabling Match Frame Rate.
